We were not able to join any mall Easter activities so we decided to just do our own egg decorating at home.
After cooling 6 hardboiled eggs, I set out to get the art supplies.
- Paint Brushes
- Tempera Paint / Poster Paint
- Crayons
- Coloured Markers
Here are some of the photos from our activity:
But of course, they eventually found out that it’s more fun to paint their hands.
I had a little of my own fun decorating.
Ta-da!!! Our masterpiece.
Happy Easter everyone! 🙂
Your kids seemed to enjoy the activity, and that’s the important thing. Nice colorful hands, I mean, eggs, lol. Great pictures, by the way. Have a wonderful day!
really great to let your kids get their hands dirty once in a while!
easter staycation, best done with kids…
Happy easter :-).. I can see in the picture that your kids enjoyed the egg painting activity.
Awww, looks like you guys had so much fun, nothing beats a home craft activity!
Im so looking forward to decorating an easter egg with my son soon. He just turned 8 months yesterday though.
what a fun activity, more paint ended on your child’s hand than on the eggs…
True! Hahaha
Did the same thing today but my pictures aren’t as great as yours, haha. 🙂 Happy Easter!
Thanks, May! Happy Easter! 🙂
I remember when we were kids we would melt crayons on a spoon and pour all over the eggs. It created a sort of colorful marble effect. Such fun memories. 🙂 Happy Easter!

That’s a wonderful idea! We’ll try that next time when the kids are bigger and not so attracted to touching the flame
Kids learn better when they are allowed to explore and express themselves more. It’s alright to get dirty sometimes. I’m sure you and your kid had a lot of fun!
Great photos! I love that you let your kids get creative and allow them to get “dirty”…
Great activity for kids! We did it when we were also kids but I haven’t let my daughter experience it yet. Maybe next easter, it will be on my list na. I also loved the pics! 🙂
Haha, i love it even when it’s messy for the kids. It keeps them doing something..:)
Good job, little boy! Beautiful eggs! 🙂
This looks so fun! I wish we just decorated eggs at home. We joined an Easter Egg hunt here in the village but didn’t have fun because some yayas were madaya tsk2
Awww, kaainis naman 🙁
Wow so nice! Looks the kids are having fun…
fun with kids! 😀
Aww, so adorable. I’m so scared to do activities like this with my younger kid coz she might spread paint all over the curtains and furniture. Happy Easter mommy! 🙂
Me too! We did it outside, covered the table with magazines hehe
I love this activity. Apparently, my kids are difficult to contain every time they see art materials :)) I’ll try this out once they are a bit bigger 🙂
Looks like they had fun! I haven’t done any egg activity with the kids. Thanks for the inspiration! 🙂
We didn’t do arts and crafts last Sunday – it would have been fun to do so. Maybe we’ll have this one of these days, even if it’s not Easter Sunday. You guys sure had a blast there.
Looks like your son enjoyed your easter activity! Love the color of the eggs.
My goodness! I should have done this last Sunday.. 🙂 maybe we’d have a pointing session this week. Lovely picture. Lovely kids.
What a nice way to keep the kids preoccupied on Easter. They sure had a lot of fun with the paint. Lol!
Ang saya. Lalo na yung mas makulay pa kamay nila kesa sa mga eggs. Nyahahaha!
We’ll do this next Easter. It looks like a lot of fun and I’m sure Jael will enjoy this activity.
