If you’ve been watching TV, chances are you might have caught Eden’s newest TVC already. Here’s a scene from it.
You might be wondering who that Eden mommy is? Is she a celebrity? Is she a star?
I was able to attend the formal introduction of the new Eden mommy last May 19, 2016 at 25 Mushrooms Kitchen in Valle Verde, Pasig.
The event was hosted by the lovely Gelli Victor.
It wasn’t long before we were introduced to the newest Eden mommy, Mommy Star. These photos capture her personality so perfectly because she is as you see, bubbly, funny, kalog, and kwela. She’s a hands on single parent who loves documenting her family life through videos posted in YouTube (YT Channel: Mommy Star). She is already a star in her own right as she has a huge social media fanbase. It was only a matter of time before a brand like Eden discovered and tapped her.
And it’s a good idea too as she’s as ordinary as you and me, which makes her so relatable. “We’re happy we found Mommy and hope that she will be an inspiration for other mothers to be their own kitchen superstar. We’re very excited about this project and look forward to seeing mommies everywhere share their own Eden Cheese recipes,” shared Nikki Paras, Assistant Brand Manager for Eden Cheese Philippines
Here, Mommy Star demonstrated one of her recipes using Eden cheese in the very ordinary Tilapia.

And here’s the yummy fried Tilapia with melted cheese inside. Mmmm, I must try this!
Mommy Star poses with her equally bubbly daughter Mariam, who is her inspiration and is also always a part of her YT videos. She’s also in the TVC, by the way.
Needless to say, I love Eden cheese as you can see from my previous posts. I will surely watch out for other Eden cheese recipes from Mommy Star, especially the very simple ones like the cheesy Tilapia.
Wait, what? Did anyone say cheesy champorado??
You can check out http://cheeseanything.com/ for the recipe on that and other Eden inspired dishes.
She really seems like a funny mommy.. i saw her video where she accompanied the Soshal Network girls in their crazy adventure… As far as I can remember she also impersonated Janet Napoles in one of the segments of Bubble Gang (not sure if she’s really the same girl pero kahawig nya talaga)

O nga noh, medyo hawig haha
Awesome! cooking is always a good way for mother and child to bond. A family and cooks and eats together, stays together.

Oo nga, sa mga nabibili sa grocery, itong Eden na ito, masarap eh. Masarap kahit cheese lang. Hahaha. Ang ginagawa ko, hindi ko nginunguya. Basta merong small piece in my mouth and I sort of do gentle sucking. Hanggang matunaw at maubos.

Great photos! I don’t watch much tv so I’m not familiar with her, but from what you’ve written, she’s a huge star! That tilapia with melted cheese is a must try! My family and I are loyal Eden eaters, so I’m sure this turned out great!
Ooooh. She does look bubbly in the commercial. I’m glad she’s as down-to-earth as Eden projected her. <3
I’ve been living under the rock these days and this so something refreshing.
She is like my mom not physically but seeing her photos I can sense she’s really bubbly and approachable. I’m happy for Eden for discovering her.
cheers! http://www.masterryo.wordpress.com

It’s great that Eden recognizes moms that are relatable and are inspiring to moms. Anyway, I wonder how tilapia with Eden cheese tastes like more so with champorado. I feel that it’s better that the cheese is a liquid-type like a spread or the cheese easily melts. If I were to cook those recipes though, I’ll use my new favorite cheese, Arla.

I have yet to try Arla. 🙂
