It’s almost trip planning season again! Where are you going for the Holidays? In case you’re planning for a trip, do check out Traveloka for all your booking needs! Here’s one such place in our very own Philippines that’s highly getting recommended, the Masungi Georeserve in Rizal.
It is more popularly known for photos of visitors on the giant spider web like the one below.
A big shoutout to Dexter and company & Jharvis and company for letting me feature their photos on this post! 🙂
Masungi Georeserve
The Masungi Georeserve is a conservation area and a rustic rock garden tucked in the rainforests of Rizal. Its name is derived from the word “masungki” meaning “spiked” – an apt description for the sprawling limestone landscape found within.
Before the Georeserve came to be, the area was constantly under the threat of mining, quarrying, and land-grabbing activities. Thanks to the efforts of passionate environmentalists, the area was secured and reforestation and rehabilitation was done. Today, guests are able to commune with nature while enjoying a hike along the discovery trail.

My gosh! Such an amazing place to for adventure seekers. I’m not sure I’d be willing to trek up there, walk on that rope bridge, much less lie down on that spider web. Haha! It’s great that you experienced it though. 🙂

Please elaborate on this bio-reserve. I would like to go there on my next trip to Philippines. This place is very green, so the photographs say. And the spider thing is amazing.
