DA started his Kiddie Crew workshop at McDonald’s yesterday. Finally! He has been so excited about the thought of making ice cream all weekend! LOL!
I was able to stay all throughout the first day so I’ll share with you some of the things that they did.
Attire
The night before, I received a text message reminding us of the proper attire that the children should wear.
- Kiddie Crew Cap
- Kiddie Crew Shirt
- Long Pants
- Socks
- Closed/Rubber Shoes
- No nail polish/jewellery/expensive watch
These are his day 1 and day 2 OOTD. š
He’s growing into such a big boy already. Pretty soon, I’ll have to buy new clothes for him (those are new kicks by the way). Plus, some for DS of course, just to be fair. It’s a good thing that I found a wide array of baby and kids’ clothing at ZALORA’s Marketplace. I digress, more on that next time. š
Tour
Once the group was complete, they trooped down the stairs to wash their hands. They were then given a tour of the facility. DA’s the youngest and the smallest in the group.
They were then taught the basics like getting drinks and ice cream. Cool!
After the orientation, they got to actually stand behind the counter to greet and serve the customers. They also took turns at the drive-thru window to give the customers their orders. A lot of the customers were amused to see young crew serving them. They’d often chat with the kids or ask them for high fives.
There’s DA, too small to properly reach the counter. Awww. I had him bring a step stool the next day so that he can at least see the customers. š
After their hard work, they were rewarded with food and drinks. They had Burger McDo and Iced Tea on their first day. Other food choices include Spaghetti and Cheeseburger.
P.S. No fries included. I ordered extra. Haha
While they were eating, the teacher gave a briefing of what they’ll be doing the rest of the week – learn how to dance, man the floor (greet and serve customers), make cheeseburger, among others. She also reminded the children to always smile and be polite to their customers.
Judging by the kids’ smiles and laughter, it seems that they all had loads of fun. Tomorrow again! š
Andameng mga summer activities for kids! Excited na ko for my twins when they reach the right age!
Ang cute naman nang uniform. Hehehe. You know I’ve always wanted to join these activities – I saw one back in high school but I may have been a little too old that time. I wanted to let my niece join in too but wala din. She probably can’t join next year, too. Baka my daughter can try being a kiddie crew when she’s a little older na. š
Ang cute ng cashier ng McDo! š I bet the kids enjoyed their activities.
My son also joined the Kiddie Crew last summer and he will participate again next week. It’s nice for them to learn how to “work” even while they are still young š Nice photos!
My daughter wants to join in the crew kaya lang the participating store is 2 -jeepney ride away from our home. So mejo mlayo tlga. Bakit ganon? Unfair. hahahaah
I csn imagine the excitement you must have felt, and the little boy looks like he’s really enjoying it! I think we’ll join next year!
Summer is the best time to spend as much time with your kids as possible. With productive activities such as McDo Kiddie crew, mas masaya ang summer ng mga bata. Kyle had also tried being a kiddie crew before and he enjoyed it so much. Sabi ko, sana when he’s old enough to work, ma-enjoy niya pa rin yung pagiging Mcdo crew.
He is so cute š next year will try this activity for my son
They’re so cute in their kiddie crew uniforms! And he couldn’t reach the counter, so funny and cute at the same time.
The kids look so cute in their outfit. It must have been fun watching the kids make their own food.
You know what mommy, i really can’t wait to enroll my daughter in mcdo kiddie crew. kaso bata pa sya. matagal tagal pa š
Cuties! I can’t wait for when Jacob can join! š
Hi Mommy Che!!! Sooo cute š Message us what branch po. We’ll drop by and order š -CCDCGH teachers
Thanks, Teach! š I messaged Lao Shi already about it. Hope to see you guys. š
Parang hindi talaga complete ang childhood pag hindi dumaan sa McDo Kiddie Crew! Haha!
Cute uniforms for the kiddie crew! Looks like your little boy enjoyed being the youngest crew in their batch. He’s always first on the line!
Pwede ba 5 years old? The banner says 6 and up kasi, that’s why I enrolled my eldest in yoshinoya muna. Ang cute ng uniform! š
Hi Shalene, yes, they’re not strict on the age naman. As long as the child can communicate and understand instructions, they accept. š
Buti pa ung anak mo mommy. I was convincing my daughter to join the kiddie crew pero ayaw talaga nya. Ung bunso ko ang willing kaso he’s only 3 y/o. Gusto kasi nya gayahin si Spongebob daw. Gagawa din sya ng Krabby Patties.
Kiddie crews are adorable! Fun way to spend time and learn this summer break.
My girls were able to join the Kiddie Crew workshop a few years ago and it was a fun experience for them. We’re planning to enroll our son too maybe next year when he turns 5. š
Cute little kiddo! My son was also part of McDo Kiddie Crew last year, and he enjoyed it!
Oh..this brings back memories of our 2 little girls (now young ladies) on the summer McDo kiddie crew stints. It was fun for them.
Cute little kiddos! Mc Donalds always reminds me of my college life where I used to be a working student. š
Last year, I enrolled both of my daughters with McDo too! But this year, they tried naman sa Jollibee! This kiddie crew thing is really nice! It is teaching them how to socialize, how to be responsible while having fun! I am already excited for next year! š
Is Jollibee’s similar to Mcdo’s Kiddie crew? I had the perception that it’s more on the dancing.
This is the cutest crew ever! hahaha
I am eating the cookie nā cream McFlurry and watching this at the same time
